Fruit, Veggies, and Gray Days

These were taken at the same time I made the soup. I don't know why I enjoyed taking them so much, but I found myself lost in the process.

I love the shapes of the glass. And the wonderful orange color.

And apparently this is the post of pairs. It seems like for every picture, there is another in this group that is very similar. But I like them all. I couldn't decide which to post and which to leave out, so I am including them both.

Squash.

Two of them.

White onion.

Two of them, too. Don't ask why. I don't know.

This day was one of the first and as it turns out only dreary days this winter. It was a perfect soup making day and I had to capture that. I love that we have the creek and so much nature behind us instead of fences and houses and...city.

There is a time when days like this feel good. Every once in a while.

But I'm glad that today wasn't one of them. The sun was warm today and the breeze felt refreshing. Hope your day was/is as good as mine and I hope you have a beautiful tomorrow. :)
