Guitar, Green, Kids, Colors

Slowly but surely, Orion seems to be taking an interest in music. Creating music.

He sure enjoys playing Zac's electric every once in a while. He also has begun to tap the drums every now and then.

We saw a 3 piece folky band playing at the GFGH 5k and the drummer had just a simple snare drum and hi-hat cymbal. Orion was very intrigued.

Found at the Anderson's:

I love this little plant.

Awesome shapes in nature.

She is getting so long and graceful. Growing so quickly. It makes my heart smile, seeing and thinking of this sweet little Maebelle.

Lightning bug catching!

As always, there are flowers.

Flowers, flowers...

...everywhere.

Bicycle

Zac got a new bike.

It's cool.

 So shiny and awesome.

So sleek and smooth.

So new and photographic.

So wonderful in the evening sun.

Summertime

Summer sun. What a beautiful thing.

...Speaking of beautiful...

For Father's Day this year, we did melted crayon art for Zac. Orion's was an abstract.

Maebelle's was a storm. The green is a bush, the yellow, red and orange at the top - her interpretation of lightning and the rest is rain.

And mine. I added a construction paper shape since I knew I wanted to do a tree.

Finished product:

Being silly:

Thank you Grandpa, for the awesome balloons and the balloon blower upper. I guess that would probably be called a pump, huh. : )

Maebelle and her extra large ice cubes. She filled balloons up with water and froze them.

Then took them out to the yard to play with them. I wasn't sure I understood, since they were slippery and hard and you couldn't do much with them. But her, Orion and Heidi loved them!

They even colored one yellow with food coloring. The only problem was that then the yellow food coloring was all over everything. : /

Love these fishies.
