The Two Amigos - Children's Photography

So we didn't make it to three, but these two are definitely amigos. Here are the latest shots of the silliest kids I know...

MacKenzie - NE Kansas Children's Photography

Here are some of MacKenzie. These were taken on Easter. She is such a doll.

I love the ruffles...

Konnor - NE Kansas Children's Photography

I had the opportunity to take some photos of this little cutie a couple of months ago. He was 18 months old when I took the photos. And he has eyes and eyelashes to die for.

And he is a sweetheart, too.

And my favorite of the day...

Lazy Sundays

Sunday morning we woke up to beautiful, shimmery (and dripping) ice. It was warming up quickly so I headed out to get some photos.

The day turned into a great spring day. Cool, but sunny and crisp. In the late afternoon, I was getting anxious to get out of the house, so we went for a drive as a family. Something that I hadn't done in years.

When I was a kid, my dad used to take us on drives out in the country. It is one of my most cherished memories. We would drive, just to see what we could see.

Open fields and old barns were common sights on the drives we would take when I was a kid. Just as they were on my family's adventure. There is a very old barn in the photo above. Just to the left of the drive. Can you see it? (No, probably not, but if you click on it, you might be able to.)

The feeling I get when I remember those lazy Sunday drives is one I would love to pass on to my kids. What is something that you remember that you would love to pass on to the next generation?
